Betsy opened the salon and spa in 2014 to turn her vegan lifestyle into a career that she could share and teach with others. Along with being the owner of the salon and spa, Betsy is also an experienced stylist and has continuing education in Orlando attending and participating in the IBS shows. Betsy takes pride in offering healthy and vegan product lines for her guests as well as ongoing research in new and natural ways of maintaining your hair and skin. Betsy is more than happy to help with any question or concerns that will give you the best experience at Organic Roots.

As a native to Portland, ME and always absorbing the surroundings around her - art, beauty, and wellness have become a way of life. Kim completed her cosmetology training from Empire Beauty School in 2009. Through the years she's developed a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for self expression through natural hair care. With the passion to enhance the lives of others through comfort, peace, and self care she continued her education at Spa Tech Institute of Massage specializing in deep relaxation bodywork. Beauty, just as the body, is in perpetual ebb and flow and needs consistent, individualized attention. Kim prides herself in providing a unique experience designed to help you nurture your body, inside and out!

Danielle has a passion for healing and seeing the skin from a holistic approach; integrating non-invasive modalities, mindful movement + wellness, nervous system nourishment and a bio-individual process. Exploring her own energetic and emotional body to heal trauma, work through stressful times and expand her vibration has opened up the doors to sharing energy medicine experiences with all of you.
Danielle is currently the only aesthetician in Maine certified in, and practicing, Advanced Dr. Vodder manual lymphatic drainage. While she believes in being a forever student, her current education also includes Gua Sha Facial Fusion, Plants in Color Herbal Apprenticeship, Reiki I & II and a multitude of additional workshops and self-led research.

All facials are uniquely customized using an apothecary style approach and non-invasive techniques such as manual lymphatic drainage, facial massage, Gua Sha, cupping and more. Please choose the time frame you desire, and we will have you glowing from the inside out

Reiki is a gentle hands on energy healing modality that works with your chakras, meridians and Qi to remove blockages and revitalize your energetic and emotional body, creating a deeper connection to self.
